What service do you provide?
We provide a communication platform that allows our authorised users to publish indicative quotes on a range of physically delivered energy market derivative products. We publish those quotes in real-time.
Who are your clients?
We work with more than 100 trading institutions across Europe, including large energy companies, financial institutions and funds.
Who posts the quotes on the platform?
We follow a brokered trading model, classifying our users as either traders or brokers. Each quote has associated with it a broker and a trader. Users with the relevant permissions at either the associated broking or trading firms can post quotes, and then amend or cancel them as desired.
Do the quotes remain anonymous?
Each quote has associated with it a broker and a trader. The identity of the associated brokerage firm is shown to all traders able to view the quote. Neither the identity of the associated trader nor their firm is published to users at any firms not associated with the quote.
Who can see which quotes?
The quotes are broadly classified into asset classes. Users need the relevant permissions to see each asset class. Brokers cannot see quotes associated with other brokerage firms. Traders by default see all prices however, brokers can opt out from showing prices to specific trading firms if, for example, a brokerage agreement does not exist between their two firms. All read-only access is granted the same visibility as the trader.
Are the quotes executable?
No. If you see a quote that is of interest, you must contact the associated broker. The workflow then follows the normal voice-broking model, including ascertaining whether credit-lines exist between the counterparties. The act of execution is done entirely off our platform, following which the broker reports the trade via the platform.
Do you guarantee the quotes and/or other data on the platform?
No. As a non-executable, communication platform, we cannot guarantee the veracity, quality or timeliness of any data input by our users, including the quote prices, the historical data and the prices emailed
out from our servers.
While we cannot enforce that users honour their quotes, we encourage you to Contact Us if you feel any quote was made falsely or
was in any way misleading. We will then follow it up with the broker involved. Users that consistently post inaccurate data will be asked to leave the platform.
Do you endorse or advocate the quotes or counterparties on the platform?
No. We do not provide any advice on investments, do not have a view on asset prices nor do we act as an introductory or endorsement service for counterparties. It is entirely up to our users to evaluate the quotes and ascertain whether they can and should interact with the third party broker and trader associated with the quote.
What technical requirements are they to use the service?
We follow a "software as a service" model and hence all you require is access to the Internet and a modern browser to use our service.
Does this service require software to be installed?
You do not need to download and/or install any additional software.
Is the service secure?
Yes. All communication through the platform is done via encrypted connection (HTTPS).
When is the service available?
We use commercially reasonable endeavours to ensure the service is available during business hours. All scheduled maintenance is done outside of those hours. In reality, the service is typically available 24/7.
How can I request access?
Please Contact Us and we will work out how to get you onto the service. Traders will need to be introduced by one of our participating brokers. Brokers, we will onboard you directly.

How do I learn how to use the service once a member?
We believe the platform is highly intuitive but offer various documentation instructing you how to use the service. Another useful source of information for traders are our participating brokers, who will happily help out. And of course, we are always happy to help in any way, so please Contact Us with any questions.
Does PLEXHUB handle REMIT transaction reporting?
No. All obligations surrounding REMIT including trade reporting are still the responsibility of our users. Typically, the brokers associated with the quotes will perform the role of Organised Market Place (OMP).
Do you plan to expand into other products?
Yes. There are plans afoot to expand into other product areas. Please feel free to Contact Us and suggest a market / asset suite you would be interested in seeing on the platform, as we would be happy to discuss.
